I've been coming here on and off for the last ten years. Every time I come it gets worse and worse. The staff were friendlier this time then the last several times I've been there. The grilled chicken wings were dry and flavorless. The mild fried chicken wings were so greasy, we all had to dab the chicken on a napkin just to absorb whatever Greece came out! Other than that, nice low key area to eat cheap mediocre food.

Me and a few friends came here with two groupons for 50 wings each. We were ready to eat and had been properly starving ourselves all day in preparation for the marathon that was about to go down. When we walked in, it seemed like they were understaffed. The lady who I can only guess to be the manager welcomed us and told us to sit wherever. We found a table and sat down. We understood that they were understaffed so we waited patiently. It took about 15 minutes before we were actually given menus to look at. We mentioned to the lady that we had two groupons just to make sure that we could use both (we had checked beforehand that the fine print said "limit one per person" and not "per table") and she said it was limit one per table only. We mentioned that it said "limit one per person", but then she told us that she was certain it was "per table" and even offered to show us. Before we could say anything, she was off helping another table. When she came back 10 minutes later, we had the groupon out and politely showed her that it said "per person" and asked her if she could show us the "per table" just in case we missed it. She dismissed it and just straight up told us that we couldn't use two. We suggested that we split up into two tables to which she responded "no, that's cheating". We decided to shrug it off and use just the one groupon. We had already driven over 25 miles from Davie and were already starving. And who knows? Maybe the wings were delicious. A waiter took our order. We ordered fries, celery, and three different sauces of the fried wings; the parmesan garlic, honey bbq, and the volcano. He explained to us how much celery was in the full order and half order of celery and we decided a half order was sufficient. Afterall, we were there for the wings and only two of us would really eat the celery. The wings were disappointing. Incredibly dry, there was no meat, and barely any sauce. We asked our waiter for more sauce on the side so that there would actually be flavor. He did not mention that "extra" sauce costed money, but I had a suspicion that I'd seen it on the menu. When he brought it over, we asked him and he said yes. Feeling bad that he would have to take it back, we accepted the extra cost and took the sauce. Seriously though, who charges for sauce--especially the amount that should have been on the wings in the first place. The "Volcano" sauce, which is supposed to be "hot hot hot", was not even mildly hot. Me, having been made fun of in the past for not being able to handle heat, was not even fazed by the lack of capsiacin in the sauce. Halfway through our meal, I noticed it was getting pretty dark until flash! the lights were turned on. Finally, the bill came and we noticed that we were charged the amount for a full order of celery. We talked to the lady again, and she insisted that we had the full order. Fed up beyond belief, we decided not to argue anymore and just leave. My final impression of this place is just the ultra-stinginess of the manager. It seemed like they were trying to cut costs in all areas, from being understaffed, to arguing the use of another groupon, the amount of sauce used, to keeping the lights off much later than they should have been, and downright lying about our order. I know the point of Groupon is to get people to try a place out in hopes that they'll have a good experience and tell their friends about it. I'm definitely telling my friends about it--making sure that they never come here.

I gotta say, this place has come a long way! I consider myself kind of a wing snob. When this place first opened several years ago, I gave it a try. I wanted to like them since they were close by, but I just didn't. I had my standard hot wings, grilled, extra hot, but they were not impressive at all, so I never went back. A few years ago I happened to stop in for lunch with a coworker. I remembered not liking the wings, but I was talked into trying them again. To my surprise, I loved them! I have since tried their signature wings grilled, and my favorite variation, grilled signature with a splash of volcano! Hands down, best wings in Coral Springs!

My husband and I stopped in starving after a Marshall's run which happens to be in the same plaza. I recognized the name from a local TV show called Check Please South Florida and figured we should give it a try. It was packed so we sat at the bar. We had excellent service the whole time and my husband was content as there was a TV with sports on right in front of us. This is definitely a local hole in the wall place. They definitely do well with take-out as well as there were easily 10 people that came in while we were eating. We had the bruschetta appetizer which you normally wouldn't think they would offer nor would you try in a wings joint, but it was very good! We wanted a non greasy appetizer and it was perfect. It was very fresh. I ordered fried wings medium and they came out with the sauce drizzled over them. I've heard Wings n Ale is known for the grilled wings, but I prefer the fried and they were alright. My husband ordered a burger and said he could tell it was frozen and not fresh. He thought it tasted like the ones you buy in bulk from Costco. The fries were previously frozen as well as your could tell by the Ore Ida zigzag shape. I always think of those Kitchen Nightmare shows when they say are actually losing money buy using frozen and not just cutting up a fresh potato. Overall an alright experience, but I think there are better places to get wings and bar grub in South Florida.

I have stopped by for lunch several times. My first visit I ordered the Chicken Cesar wrap which was recommended by the waitress. It was quite good and I like the fact it has diced tomatoes in it. Since that day I have gone back soley for that wrap. I can't say much about the other meals except for my husbands comments on his food. The "lunch special" burgers are not much better than Wendy's or Burger King however, their regular menu burgers on the Cibatta bread are good. He like's the wings as well but after trying my wrap he pretty much sticks to ordering that now, the BBQ burger or wings. The waitstaff is pleasant but during lunch hour they can get pretty slammed and seem to be understaffed which means if you are on your lunch brake do not wait too long to ask for your bill so you are not stuck waiting.

Very quaint place in the Fresh Market strip mall. I've only been once before and that was years ago and remember they had awesome grilled wings. However, our friends Groupon recently brought us back together and dropped in there tonight. For a Sunday evening, this place was quite full with only two servers on hand but we still had excellent service.I was just expecting bar food when I walked into this place but when I scanned their menu, I was pleasantly surprised. I love me some bar food but sometimes it's nice to switch it up a bit and be nice to my arteries. They have about 20 sauce selections for wings and you can also get them on fish, chicken, sandwiches, etc. And they are saucy with an ethnic selection with flavors from all over the world. I got the blackened mahi sandwich and was unsure about the decision until they brought it out to me. They give you a hearty portion of mahi that was some of the freshest fish I've ever had in a joint like this. Pair that up with some crinkle cut fries and I was a happy gal. Next time, I am definitely splurging and getting their cheese fries!

Best wings and BBQ in south Florida. Don't expect 5 star dining, but expect the real deal on wings, ribs, fries, and the ranch dip!

When I was pregnant I always ordered wings from here-- From work and from home. Disappointed that I placed an order today from work, along with 6 other co-workers and the wings were terrible. They seemed to have been microwaved, as they were very dry and chewy. A few of the orders were also incorrect. When we called to complain, they did not want to take responsibility for the quality or or the orders being wrong... We were told the owner is the one who prepared out orders and he knows for a fact everything was fresh--- When I asked to speak to the manager myself, I was told told he is way tooooo busy to come talk to me----Instead we all got very bad customer service and they hung up on us. I will never give this place another brown cent!

I've been eating at this restaurant for 10+ years. The staff is incredible and the Ribs/Wings are the best in town hands down. If you're looking for a relaxing low-key place to grab a beer and some wings, this is your place.

Hands down the best wings I've had in awhile. My husband is a huge wing eater, he is very picky when it comes to food, especially wings! Lol but we both have nothing bad to say about wings n ale. Also the older lady behind the bar was very nice and treated us with 100% great customer service!! Highly recommend!

Won't go back and live so close! My husband and I went for a light late dinner, 9:23pm. They were open until 10pm. As soon as we opened the door they (3) said we are closed! We responded with oh we must have miss read the sign. They responded again. WE ARE CLOSED! Tone of voice-rude! I wonder if the owner is aware of his "not" kind staff?

Walked in, the place just seemed sort of dirty. We ordered drinks, he brought the drinks back and was ready to take our order. I asked for a few more minutes. 15 minutes later we left a 5 on the table and left because the waiter never came back. It wasn't busy. So many other good seeing places in Coral Springs; we went to Lefty's and the wings and service were great.

Glad to be back! Been awhile since I've been here because of a disagreement I had with the former owner. He's gone and the chef, who's been there for years, is the sole owner now. My son and I were always big fans of this restaurant so I came back to check it out. During my hiatus, this restaurant was featured on Check Please. I ordered some draft beers in their mini pitchers, my son had the fries with a cheese dipping sauce as a app., he ordered the full rack of ribs, and I ordered two wing lunch specials to go. I got 10 wings hot teriyaki, and 10 jamaican jerked. All the food was outstanding just as a remembered it, it's helps that the owner/cook prepared our meals. My son loves their cheese dipping sauce and the ribs. He ripped thru the ribs like a starving caveman. Lol. I got my wings grilled and drums only. Not to big and just the right amount of charred flavor that sets these wings on a higher level then anyone else. Service was great, but it wasn't that busy. Here is the tough part, their wings are outstanding. In my mind you have some great chicken wings around here, Wings Plus, Calypso Pub, Hooters, Chez Porkeys and Wings N Ale. I would have to admit that Wings N Ale is #2 of my all time best wings list. I just love the way they are cooked and the flavor. This is another restaurant that you need to eat at and judge the product for yourself. I'm sure you will not be disappointed. Remember to them Dan sent you to try the little baby pitchers of beer and their wings. Stay Hungry!

Wanted to really like this place as it's close to my bank and convenient and so forth. Tried a few times and the food was just not very good. Inconsistent and kind of fried and bland and nothing really memorable. I know it's chicken wings and beer but it's just chicken wings and beer. Will try again.

Cant speak for the food.... didn't have any ....arrived with a Groupon ....was greated very nicely at the door....taken to a table... then the very nice waitress asked if we had any coupon or discount ...we said we had a Groupon and she said that the owner ( who was conveniently not there ) said that they would not take it ....it had expired at 5 AM that day??? Nothing said that anywhere...she and the cook apologized but said that there was nothing that they could do....and that it had happend all day long... we decided to stay due to the late hour and then was told that they were basically out of everything except wings and fries....and only steak fries.....no soups...no burgers ....no sandwiches...no nothing. So...we paid our drink bill and left for a restaraunt down the street. Let's hope that SOMEONE with SOME LEVEL OF PROFESSIONAL COURTESY and BUSINESS SAVY buys this place before the current owner loses all the customers..... like the ones he lost today. I know we will not be back! My guess is a lot of others will not either. Gotta feel bad for the staff.... but then I suppose there are a lot of bad bosses ....this guy just raises the bar !

Food is OK. Wings are meaty and tender - good grilled. Service seems slow - never seems to be enough servers on hand. Owner seems a little "off". Place needs a major renovation. Don't go if dirty floors and peeling laminate tables upset you!

There are many "wing" places in Broward County. Though, I don't frequently go out for just wings. However, the main reason I chose to go because on a local South Florida PBS program, 3 different guys provided very positive feedback on the TV show. However, after going last night I felt in doubt whether f it was the same place (sarcasm). No celery or dressing Is offered with the wings. The pieces seem quite small. My 15 year old ordered the Teriyaki sauce on her grilled wings. Overpowering with ginger and the sauce. The waitress had the cook "cook off" some of the sauce, but my daughter was still unhappy. I ordered the grilled wings with the Peruvian sauce (described as with curry). If was ok, but the wings were overcooked. I do not plan to go back.

I really wanted to like this place since it is close to home and I am a huge wing fan. We were greeted by friendly staff and ice cold beer on tap. We ordered the half and half which is onion rings and fries as an app. The fries were the frozen crinkle cut that you can buy at publix and make yourself...disappointing. The wings were small, overly cooked, dry, chewy and didn't taste fresh. My husband liked the volcanoe hot sauce but besides that the rest of the meal wasn't a hit. To make matters worse, the blue cheese dressing was out of a jar. I would have much rather enjoyed homemade blue cheese and hand cut fries. Food was bad but the service was good. Over all we will not be coming back. I wish I would have cooked at home tonight.

Stopped in here today to grab some wings and was very disappointed. Had grilled wings which were burnt and bone dry, I ate two wings,my fries and left. The wings were the worst I've ever had, they tasted old like they just microwaved burnt wings from yesterday.

What a horrible place. The only reason I gave it 1 star is because there isn't anything less it literally deserve negative 5. Went to use our Groupon and the waitress started giving us a hard time. When asked to speak to the manager his customer service was horrible treating us as if we were stupid. I'm actually calling Groupon to get a refund. If you want a crappy experience then go ahead and eat here. I am going to make sure that anyone I know never comes to this place!!!

They have the best wings in Coral Springs. There prices are also competitive with Wings Plus and offer solid deals on certain days. But they also make some great grilled wings as well. I would suggest these wings over any other for a day watching football or tailgating.

Terrible customer service. Waitress, Barbara was extremely rude and condescending. Would not honor value of Groupon even though it is a rule. Wings were very dry and small. Wings Plus is much better. Wings taste fresh and much better atmosphere. Don't waste your time eating here.

This is 4 stars for what it is. Itd a small place to get wings and a beer. They have tvs and the wings are good. Have only tried a few other foods that are pretty good but the carribbean flavored wings are great. This place when reviewed as a quick small stop for wings and beer is very good. Plus its walking distance from my house and they deliver.

Inconsistent and kind of fried and bland and nothing really memorable. I know it's chicken wings and beer but it's just chicken wings and beer. Will try again.

One of my favorite wing places. The people that work here a very sweet service is awesome. Is a great little place to eat some wings and French fries.

Good service but ordered light sauce and got wings drenched - the garlic parm has a spicy kick too beware...!!!

Great wings, fresh salads, and lots of choices. Good place to watch a game or just grab a great meal to go.

Love their signature wings!!!! Awesome place. This last time however the wing sauce seemed a little watered down. Still on my list of places to eat though.

Small, family run business with all around good food. The beer is cold and the environment is welcoming. Prices are very reasonable the staff are attentive. Grilled wings are good, but don't forget to try the other fare; ribs and sandwiches. Overall solid place.

Hello, me and my family have visited this place and both times they have served us burned wings ...

A real treat, wish it was closer so I can make it a five star. Prices were very reasonable. everything we ate was delish. this is a must come n try for yourself. As for a previous post the owner needs a day off every once in awhile.
